Initially I liked this pointer. It does have a nice sharp laser that shows up well. Then I tried my co-worker's which was physically shorter and wider and was actually significantly easier to hold and maneuver. This pointer is good if you need something quickly to do a few presentations, but as far as long-term use, the battery cover fell off of mine a few times in the beginning and now it doesn't stay closed at all. I have to keep a piece of tape on the pointer to keep the battery cover in place. I am RIGHT outside of the year warranty, so I am not going to request a replacement.Update as of 9/4/18: I was quite surprised to find that, based upon the product review I had written, the company actually reached out to me via email to see what they could do to rectify any issues I was having with the pointer. We came to a very fast and very fair agreement. I was just pleased to see such great customer service and wanted to increase my review from 3 to 4 stars based on the fact that the company strongly stands behind their products/product quality. I bought this as a dog toy, so I can't comment on the functionality of anything other than the laser. I will say this, since my dog is addicted to the laser, when I put it down, it has to be where she can't reach it, because she has and will pick it up and bring it back to me. It holds up to my pitbull mix lightly chewing on it. I can play for hours, running her up and down stairs, over furniture, on linoleum, carpet or hardwood, and she will just keep going until I make her stop. This laser pointer is comfortable enough to use the entire time. It doesn't heat up, or make your hand cramp up after using it for awhile. For that reason I give it 5 stars.

I noticed this product has both very positive and very negative reviews. A theme I've noticed in the negative reviews is that they are reviewing the rechargeable version of the product. I'm writing this hoping it can help clear things up as this is only for the non-rechargeable version. I purchased this on July 5, 2017 as a toy for my cat. I have only used it as a laser pointer. It still has the original battery over a year later and has no issues from being thrown around and used by many of my guests as a laser pointer toy for my cat. I was about to buy this for someone else who just got a cat and saw the negative reviews that came up. So I hooked it up to my computer and tested it as a presenter. It still works perfectly over a year later and on the original battery. Also worth noting is that it's been flipped on the "ON" position this entire time. I'm pleased to recommend this as either a great cat toy or PowerPoint presenter after over a year of use and abuse!

For an inexpensive device, it works very well.When I saw the price I bought 3. My husband's $80 presenter had just broke and finding one that works on a Mac is not easy. So after reading reviews and the product info I bought 3.My only complaints are: 1) the clip in the back is made out of cheap plastic and everyone plays with it, and 2) the buttons are reversed for forward and backward, it only takes a minute to figure it out but everyone who uses it gets the buttons wrong.I didn't expect the device to last long so I bought an extra, I am glad I did because I now carry one in all my bags. Its great having 3 and none of them have broken.

UPDATE to 4 Stars for Customer Service!: Within a few days of writing my original review, the company sent me an apology email and offered to fully refund the product or replace it with no charge to me. They responded very quickly and their customer service is exceptional. I would give them 6/5 Stars for Customer service if possible.Original: 1 of 5 Stars: I used my last wireless presenter for about 6 months and one day the USB piece that fits into the computer/device got stuck and broke off inside my computer. Since I use the presenter almost every day ( I am a teacher and use this to do powerpoint presentations) I figured it might just be because it is used so often. So I ordered another one a few days ago and due to the weather, it took a few days longer to arrive than expected. I was so excited to have a replacement so I brought it to work, plugged it in and right away the metal on the USB portion broke off. Unfortunately, yesterday was the last day to return it. Luckily I am only out a few bucks but I am quite frustrated that it keeps breaking and now the metal piece is stuck inside on the magnet.

I use this nonstop when teaching. It drives my students crazy now that I can wander around the room and see what they're doing. Actually, I could always see what they were doing--when a student is staring intently at their crotch, it's not hard to figure out they're texting or Snapchatting. But now they know I can see them, so they have to be more quick and subtle. Sometimes I'll sit next to a phone-using student and give my entire lecture from the middle of the room.

Slick device for the price, I was able to use it with Google Sheets and Windows 10 without any problem. Has On/Off button to prevent wasting battery if buttons are pressed during storage. Stores USB connector externally at the bottom and feels as if it is slides in place with a magnet (instead of with clips that usually break after multiple uses). Functioning laser doubles for personal amusement to drive the cats crazy! Fits in the hand like you are holding a Sharpie marker and the button layout very intuitive easy to adapt to in seconds. Also has a cool volume control feature (that I probably will never use) which does not get in the way of operation. Lightweight, can be stored like a pen in your shirt pocket and has a clip to hold it in place! Even comes with a battery! The only thing that could raise the geek meter on this bad boy would be if it came with a pocket protector! I would definitely buy again.

This worked fine out of the box for the first month. Then, the USB dongle broke off in my laptop's USB port when I was taking it out. It's cheap, poorly made, and now, doesn't work. I had to carefully use pliers to get the broken part of the dongle out of my USB port.Update: The company reached out and offered to replace the broken one. The new one works just fine so far and no problems with the USB dongle.

Edit: Passed range test with flying colours.. had to give a presentation where laptop was in balcony of hall at least 200 feet away. Worked perfectly and saved the day.Original review: Excellent presenter. You have to insert the dongle in usb port and it starts working. You don't have to install any software. Very easy to use. it has on offf switch, volume switch, laser pointer, and button of controlling powerpoint.You can show blank slide, page up and down, scroll documents, use as Tab button, Alt+tab button... Just been a month since I purchased it. I had searched a lot of presenters before but this is quite an economic price affordable if you are a student and can't opt for the expensive ones like Logitech etc. It's ergonomic as it's quite sleek unlike the other ones in the market. Feels like holding a pen in your hand. I like my presenter to not be the attention during my talks. So this one does the trick. The presenter has volume buttons too. The make is fine just be careful with the plastic holder. Laser is red it can be used to point over fairly large distance. Battery lasts throughout the talk if it's an hour long I suppose... it would be handy to keep an extra one. Doosl provided a free battery with the purchase. All in all awesome presenter that is economic and handy..! Amazon was real quick in its delivery too!

Comparatively cheap, but quite compact and well-designed with in-built (magnetic?) storage space crevice for USB dongle. Single AAA battery should do for few hours of presentations at the least. Works well for pdf as well as ppt presentations even in Windows 10.Flimsy clip broke after 1 year use.

It's one the best equipment students should have with them to deliver their presentations during their mini and major project reviews or any presentations that's to be delivered in conferences. There isn't any need for another person to change the sildes during the presentation....I am writing this after giving my first presentation with the help of this tool, worked well and can operate slides from the distance approximately around 80-90 metres of distance.

Gave amazing fantastic presentation while walking freely in the hall. Volume, screens, black screen, forward backward, laser, etc. flawless. Easily fits into hands. Ergonomic. Truly happy with the purchase.
