Over 10 years and I still love this stand! Worth every penny!
We bought a new house in 2013 and before we moved in I had time to install in-wall speakers, paint the room, and then install this contemporary wall stand to mount our TV. We put up a 55" TV at the time. The shelves can be placed in any order. I put the narrowest shelf on the top to hold our center channel speaker (fits perfectly). The second shelf down I put the widest of the 3 shelves because I wanted that to hold our receiver. Then the lowest shelf is the one with the middle width to hold our Apple TV and Blu Ray player. It actually looks good in that order, and it leaves a little more room on the floor instead of the largest shelf covering more of the floor. The wall mount claims to hold 165 pounds but max size of 60". That really makes no sense, as how does size really affect the stand as long as the VESA mounts line up correctly? Weight is the crucial factor. This stand must have been designed in the plasma TV days when those things were super heavy. Now LED TV's are relatively light in comparison. I bought a new 85" LED TV for the basement home theater, going to move the 75" down there to replace the 55" that is currently on this wall mount. That 75" TV weighs 76 pounds, so shouldn't be a problem for this stand to hold. This wall mount is extremely sturdy.Anyway, I love this stand and would buy it again in a heartbeat. Now I see it is "unavailable" which is too bad because it is a great way to hold your components in a living room without having to hide them in a closet or buy another piece of furniture.

just what i wanted, easy to put together!
this product was shipped ahead of time, even though i chose standard (free) shipping, I had it in less than 5 days. every piece is labeled with a letter (hardware is labeled with a number) that corresponds to the diagram instructions. i know some folks complained that there are no written instructions (only diagrams) but i cannot imagine you would need them, this piece is a cinch to put together, Took my partner and I 45 minutes to put pieces together. The most time consuming part by far was figuring out where to put each component so that cords could either reach up to the tv or to another component (this was probaby another 45 minutes.)The item came with a small ding in the underside of one of the shelves, it was the underside so we saw no reason to return it. I agree with other reviewers that the (#8) 2 and 3/4 inch screws provided for mounting to the wall studs were too short considering they needed to go through the frame, drywall and into the stud securely. We used #10 4" drywall screws, they fit the holes snuggly and were long enough. This tv isn't going anywhere ;)We mounted a 42" Insignia flat screen with no problem, we used the 4 (provided) bolts and attached the two vertical metal brackets to the tv (just line up the bracket holds based on the height you want it to hang) The brackets then clip over/sit/rest on the rectangle mount you see in the product photo, so the weight is well distributed. We mounted the stand level to our floor (but you can mount it as far up the wall as you want because it is attached to wall studs) and we put the tv at its highest point (I primarily watch it from my treadmil and wanted it high) the centerpoint of our screen is now at 55" H (againl that is off the floor)Our components include a cable box, dvd player, cable modem, wireless router and a printer. I won't lie, it was a pain in the butt getting all the wires organized and tucked away (thankfully, the panels slip on and off easily for adjustments) We followed the advice of one reviewer and did check ahead to see which cords would be easily fed through the back and which ones needed to be fed through BEFORE we attached it to the wall (based on thickness of the plug itself.) What we did was attach the mount loosely to the wall first with 2 drywall screws, put the shelves in and components on (not the tv!) and ran all our wires, then we put all 8 drywall screws tightly. You may have another method but this worked for us.One last thing, we could not fit our power strip behind the panel (the strip is okay in thickness but once the plugs are in it, it was just two deep to be covered with the panel.) we ended up putting the powerstrip on the bottom shelf in the back and the wires run under the back panel. it is completely covered by our printer.Considering that the placement of this tv stand had to go between our cable input and our electrical outlet (the only 2 studs we had to work with), we are amazingy surprised how little the wires show. We are thrilled with the sleek look of this piece and how little space it takes in our small guest/workout room. We love it.

Really nice TV mount and would get 10+ stars but....
I have now installed two of these in my house (37" and 55" plasmas) and they are fabulous and well worth the money. They look great, hide the wires and are relatively easy to install and are very sturdy.......HOWEVER....1. As another reviewer already said (I should have paid more attention) the screws that come with this item to attach the frame to the wall ARE TOO SHORT (2 3/4") and do not even go completely through the drywall; let alone into the stud! Apparently these are made for people that just have walls without any drywall.and the studs showing. SO, do yourself a huge favor and while this is in transit, go to the hardware store and get yourself eight #10-4" drywall screws along with the right size drill bit for the #10 screws (I think it was 7/16"), drill the frame mounting holes (8) slightly larger and use the #10 drywall screws to mount this to the wall. If you can find #8-4" drywall screws (if they even make them) then you won't need to make the mounting holes larger.2. Don't put your TV up or completely set in your screws in the frame until you run your wires. Once the frame is completely screwed into the wall, you can't fit the fatter plug ends through the back of the frame (for those electronics that you can unplug from the back) and if you have to run a power cord outside the frame, there also isn't enough room to feed the plug end out the back side.3. Plug the wires into your TV FIRST before you hang it on the hooks especially if the power and/or jacks are in the center of the TV because you won't be able to get your hand behind the TV later.to plug in the wires.4. If you're going to need a surge protector to plug everything into, make sure to get a low profile one in order to fit under the bottom shelf.or close to the wall.5. I had to use #10-5" toggle bolts on my other application as the placement of the studs weren't centered. Works fine and is really sturdy. Same situation with drilling the mounting holes slightly larger.Well worth it; even with the problem with the mounting holes. These are one of the nicest TV mounts I've ever seen.
