Very Under Rated. Great tablet with Windows 10
I know this isn't a high end product, but it is solid. For the price, it cannot be bested. i bought the RCS 12.2 tablet before Christmas to test, and I found it a good value, but bigger than I needed. i bought the 10.1 inch screen version because it is easier to hold as a tablet and for easy use on an airplane. It is a full windows 10 machine! My main use is for email, web browsing, and youtube/netflix/amazon video viewing. It works very well for this. The only thing that is sub-par is the battery life. With the setting on max battery life, it will last 5 hours. At normal battery settings it lasts about 3 hours. I have not found it to be a big problem as it is mostly beside the couch, and I plug it in when I'm not using it. This is a very good value, and for under 80.00 delivered, it is the tablet value to beat.

A mistake, but a surprisingly good one.
When I purchased this, I wasn't paying enough attention to what I was looking at, and didn't realize this was a refurbished product. One of the better mistakes I've made. The tablet came in original packaging, in great condition. If I hadn't went back and read the product description again, I would not have realised it was refurbished. I saved 40 dollars by accidentally purchasing the refurbished model.Touchscreen works as expected, and windows runs ok. If I run anything beyond basic programs, it will start to lag, but daily tasks work without issue. Browsing, document editing, and video playback all run well if you don't open to many windows at once. The keyboard is ok at best, but a nice extra at this price. It connects to the tablet securely and functions as it should. There is a kickstand on the back of the tablet to prop it up while using the keyboard. Works fine on a table, but the keyboard will not hold the tablet in place to be used on your lap or anything like that. It's a tablet with a keyboard attached, not a laptop. At the end of the day, I got more than I expected. Sure it is a bit sluggish if I try to do to much at once, and the keyboard is mediocre, but it costs half the price of the windows 10 license that is installed in it, so it's already a good deal. The fact that it is actually pretty well made and works well for the daily tasks most people would use it for makes it a great deal. If you are looking for a tablet that is inexpensive, but want to run windows and not android, you would be hard pressed to find a better option.

False advertising
Not ddr4, it came with 2gb of ddr3 and that is a big difference. 2gb of ddr4 is equivalent to 4gb of ddr3. Two times less ram for a modern OS like Windows 10. That is not good at all or nice of them to do to customers. They did not indicate the bit. It came with a 32bit OS and BIOs. That was being discontinued. Everything was moving to 64bit once Windows XP shutdown. That means you will basically never get to upgrade and keep your tablet safe and modern. Linux even hardly supports 32 bit anymore. Not modern light weight ones like Lubuntu and one will never be able to use 64bit applications. That means you will not be able to use any programs. 95% of software is 64bit now.Everything else was correct. Need to be more transparent with customers.I like it, but they could of did 64bit because the motherboard supports it. From what Google search tells me.

surprisingly useful
nope, it's not a powerhouse or amazingly fast. i put in an extra flash card for storage. it had about a week of slowness chugging through all the updates, then it was fine for me. i used it for several trips. light and easy to stow, pack, unpack, fitting into seat pocket or in personal item under seat with ease. i was trying to travel as light as possible to avoid exorbitant bag fees and this was a tremendous lightening of my load.i was selective about which files i loaded onto it for space, but was able to do what i needed for each trip, play some simple games, read some kindle books, basic edit and print, browse with ease. no, i could not have as many tabs open as on my newer full blown laptop, but i could have several without frustration. battery life is nothing to shout about, 3 or 4 hours depending on what i was doing on it, but was adequate for when i was between outlets for charging. a good little travel tablet. i was able to download the apps i needed. couldn't edit equations, but i didn't need to, so i didn't purchase the full microsoft experience for it. i've had it for about a month now, and it's done just what i needed at a reasonable speed. if you want to play GTA or something similar, it wouldn't be good for you, but otherwise glad i tried it.

Flimsy design, lackluster performance, good screen, good value.
There were no other choices when looking for a cheap1080p tablet with a large screen. I use the tablet/computer basically for streaming movies/sports and it does that. However, it doesn't have the RAM to support a basic Android emulator. This after I uninstalled everything and left the computer bareboned with only OpenOffice. But my biggest complaint is the change in design. I had a previous RCA tablet that ended up having a screen input problem but I loved the keyboard and design. That tablet had protection incorporated into the casing of the computer and a solid keyboard. You could flip the keyboard around backward and use it as a stand and adjust the angle. This keyboard is flimsy and I'm scared it will rip at the corners with even gentle use or the connecting pins will start to lose contact. I want to find a case for it without the flimsy keyboard but there is only one option and none on the RCA website. It also lacks a volume button on the side and 5 GHz WiFi connectivity. As far as an everyday computer for your kids, it should be fine and will be nice to be compact and able to bring on the go. But be scared if they drop it, it will probably break because of the design. I'd also use it strickly for school, research, and word processing being wary of installing too many games for performance. I'd give it time because it's going to be slower in the beginning because of background installation going on.
