However, these hold a high pony all day for me! I can also use them for a half up look and they hold half of my hair as well as all of my hair. I love the color options and the fact that I got 6 for less than the price of 1 name brand clip! They also seem very sturdy and can even hold my daughter's want/curly, thicker, higher density hair as well! The easiest way to put the clip in and get it EXACTLY where you want it is to put your hair into the pony or half up using one of the clear rubber bands (the kind used for fancy up-do's), then put the clip on and either leave the band in place or snap it and remove it.
