It is quiet compared to the others but you can hear any motor run but this unit does not sound intrusive.So far it as performed well and it connected to WiFi on a Mesh system OK but the app does need some attention as it's a little buggy but it is nice to be able to keep an eye on things when away from home.The unit does not shut down after the set cook time is reached so food will stay at the set temperature until you turn it off.I am happy with it so far and it does have a two-year warranty and a good customer forum. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Don't lend it to anyone *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 7 August 2023* Loaned my old one to the butcher... got sick of waiting for it to come back, so I bought a new one. Best gadget in my kitchen after the Kamado Joe grill and the Ooni pizza oven.For the best ever fillet steak sous-vide it for 1-2hrs at 53C and then quickly sear in the Ooni for 1-2mins at 450-500C till it gets a decent crust.
