I used to use the original lid but they all kept getting rusty which was annoying because i had to keep buying more, lol. I found these and OMG! It is much easier and these are definitely more durable. I also like they are leak proof just like the original lids. Another nice thing about these is the fact that u can just throw these in the dishwasher because who needs more chores? Right? A tip; there are 2 version of these, one for wide mouth and one for the regular mouth so pay attention when choosing. Overall, i think these worth the money and even though that i still use the original classic lids from time to time for canning or other things, i mainly use these plastic ones for convenience. I wish they would come in different colors but that’s not a big issue and hopefully, manufacturer will come up with other colors.
