Talk about bang for the buck!
First of all, I paid $13.95 (w/ free prime shipping) for this speaker! I was skeptical and didn't think I would get much at this price point, but all the positive reviews told a different story so I decided to check it out for myself. It arrived in a timely fashion - packaged securely and professionally. My first impression of the speaker was that it had the look and feel of a much more expensive speaker. It has a nice brushed metal appearance, and it is quite heavy for its size. Syncing was a breeze. Within minutes of unboxing, I had it paired with my iPhone and Macbook Air with no passcode required. I'm using it in my office which is about 400 sq ft, and the sound volume is more than adequate. In fact, it's so loud I typically use it at or below half volume. I tried placing the speaker in every corner of the room and the connectivity was solid. It's hard for me to point out any negatives especially at this price point, but if I was being picky I would echo other reviews that stated volume control issues. The volume/track buttons are combined. Single click = track +/-. Press & hold = volume +/-. Not really an issue for me - just something to get used to. And finally, the sound quality is good. Not the best I've ever heard, but still very good. It's a nice full range sound. The top end isn't as vibrant as I would normally prefer, but again I only paid $13.95 for this speaker. I am really nitpicking here. Overall, an amazing value!

Stout, little speaker, great sound, a few more features than my iHome speaker
This is the second of this speaker I've gotten, forth of this brand. Great sound, even if you can't fiddle with the levels of base and treble. The base does come out well, though. I'm the typical girl, I like my music to boom boom fairly well, nothing to rattle the glass out of the windows. I've adjusted the equalizer on my phone, and the levels that I want come out well on the speaker. This little booger is quite heavy, a solid, little can. It'd cause a dent if you threw it at someone. I'd had the first one for over 6 months before I messed with any of the buttons, only paired it to my phone and went. I'd gotten it on Prime day 2016 as a lightning deal, thinking it was a fab deal. It was $12.79. But, it was better than $15.99, every little bit helps. I thought a spare speaker would be nice, so I grabbed it, didn't really read what all it did, just that he got good reviews. Fast forward to January 2017, I was trying to figure out the volume, having only used the one of my phone. I didn't know if it even had volume, as my iHome (still a good little speaker) does not. Anyway, I whoop out the huge manual and read that he has FM radio capability. I was quite surpised. I had to hook up the charging cable as an 'antenna', as recommended, and got a fair amount of channels, for Podunk, at least. I like my little speaker even more now. He's really well made, has great sound, seems sturdy quality. I'd definately recommend him.Picture for size comparison. iHome, Easyacc (same height as iHome, fatter), EasyAcc 2 (slightly taller than iHome, much fatter), EasyAcc SoundCup (obvious size difference), 20 oz. Mt. Dew bottle (terrible sound quality, don't recommend at all).

Great value, but watch out for BT battery drain!
Really hard to complain about this product when it does exactly what it is supposed to and costs about $20 shipped. I bought this speaker specifically for use in my bathroom so I can listen to music while showering, shaving, etc. That said, it certainly has some pros and cons. The Good:* Excellent small size - tiny footprint and about half the height of a soda can. Takes up less space than a can of shaving cream on my bathroom counter* Simple to use - Once it's powered on, it shows up as a Bluetooth pairing device on everything I've tested - iphones, ipods, android phones, laptops* Has a single, very small speaker which manages to reproduce just enough mid and high frequency sound to be acceptable. It even gets loud enough to hear during a shower (with the unit outside the actual shower, of course, as it's not water proof)* Battery life is excellent. I have run it continuously for up to three hours without issues. The product description claims up to five hours on battery, but I haven't pushed it that far. Regardless, the battery life has not been disappointing* Good range with the bluetooth. I haven't pushed whatever range limitations there are, but I have been very happy that music continues playing uninterrupted even when I take my phone 20 feet away into by bedroom after showeringThe Not-so-good:* No bass. Like, nothing. If you crank up the volume and you're listening to something with any amount of bass that you'd actually want to hear, things like kick-drum hits or other sudden bass notes basically sound like someone smacking a piece of cardboard inside a plastic tube. But again, it's a $20 wireless speaker that actually works consistently and is the diameter of a beer can, so this isn't especially surprising. It's really only a problem because bass gets very distorted at higher volume levels, which just makes some music sound like crap at higher volumes.* Bluetooth tech is probably outdated. The latest Bluetooth specifications, which modern Apple and Android devices use, is very energy efficient. This device will drain your phone's battery faster than a higher quality Bluetooth speaker that uses newer low-power Bluetooth implementations* Bluetooth interference - I'm not sure if this is the correct phrase here, but I wear a Pebble smartwatch (long review at https://msl.ink/mNr6s) which is constantly paired with my phone via Bluetooth. After I set this speaker up and began using it, even though I always un-paired my phone from the speaker when I'm finished listening to music with it, I noticed that both my phone and my Pebble began burning through their batteries much, much faster than normal. This was hugely noticeable with the Pebble, since it typically goes 5 or more days between charges. I was suddenly getting only about 1-2 days from my Pebble, and my phone also started running low on battery far earlier in the day than normal. After examining my Android phone's battery usage stats one day and seeing that Bluetooth was at the top of the list of things eating up my battery, I finally discovered that this problem completely disappeared when I started turning the EasyAcc speaker OFF when I wasn't using it (it has an actual on/off switch). I assume that, because the speaker is continuously broadcasting its existence via Bluetooth, my phone was likely picking up on that at all times, even when I was far from the speaker. The farther you get from a wireless device, the more power both the device and your phone will use to try and stay in communication with each other - even when they are not actively paired. I also suspect that this extra Bluetooth broadcasting was causing interference with my Pebble watch's bluetooth radio, making it have to transmit a stronger signal to cut through the added frequency "noise" (interference) to stay in contact with my phone. Once I started turning the speaker off when it wasn't in use, this problem completely went away and my devices' batteries returned to their normal performanceSummary:This is a great wireless speaker for the price. You aren't going to get high quality sound from it, but it will certainly get the job done. The battery life is excellent, and it can reach volumes loud enough to be heard over the noise of a shower. When using this speaker and MusicBoss on my Pebble watch, it's indescribably convenient to be able to adjust volume and switch songs right from my wrist while I'm in the shower. All that said, the low-frequency response of this speaker is terrible, but again you get what you pay for here. If you use other Bluetooth devices, and actually even if you don't, just be sure to turn this speaker off when you aren't using it in order to maintain your phone's battery performance.I have not tried the SD card function of this device, nor have I used it as a hands-free phone call tool, so I'm not sure how well those functions work.I am definitely going to keep this little guy, and it has served me very well so far, but I think I'm going to look for a higher-end Bluetooth speaker that can kick out some actual bass, and maybe even one that's waterproof so I can bring it into the shower with me for an even better listening experience while I bathe.
