Could be darker black
The lot I received are not a dark black- but the paper seems more like a faded black or a darkest gray. I’ve preserved more than 3,000 boxes from various sellers, these while only slightly less expensive- are of measurably lower quality. Not terrible- but it’s what was available in a time when these were sold out in most places
