Very sleek design and scans every code thrown at it with ease. It can be charged or used plugged into a USB port. They will give a digital manual with your purchase that has some bar-codes you can scan to customize your settings and things like volume, lights, and time before entering "sleep" mode. You can also request an extended manual to program your scanner some if you feel like diving into that. The customer service team is 5 stars, but I would leave 10 if I could. If you are questioning yourself about which scanner to purchase on Amazon just message them with any questions you have, I guarantee your search will be over. Dan was my rep but the entire team went out of their way to test all of my bar-codes to make sure I would get the required results. They have been in contact with me multiple times since to check in and help me alter some settings.
