Quite frankly this is the first Oracle that I bought but the interpretations are so easy. The illustrations are beautiful and surely there are no distracting writings on it, so it was pretty much exploring my intuition - which I love to do. This is a rare Oracle format - I have searched up and down for something that looks like this (only numbers and pics, no distracting writings and surely no distracting borders), and so far I can only find a handful of them. So if you are in to Oracles with just pics and no distracting writings, this one is definitely for you. The cards feels friendly and pleasing, and I am glad that this is the very first Oracle that I bought. Review: I do love the cards and the art - I do love the cards and the art, though they may not be well suited to a beginner. For someone with some familiarity with lenormand or the ability to adapt, these make for a beautiful addition. My main complaint is that the card stock is very thin and bends very easily. Very 'Alphonse Mucha Esque'! *by K***N on June 30, 2011* The Art Nouveau Oracle is a beautiful deck. The cards with the women on them remind me of the work of Alphonse Mucha and are similar to the artwork in the 'Tarot of Art Nouveau' deck by Antonella Castelli and Los Scarbeo. So if you like one, you'll like the other. I expected all the images (or at least most) to be this way , as the images shown on Amazon are all featuring these women, in the 'Mucha' style. However there are many images in this 36 card oracle deck that feature other things, such as the bear, the snake, the tree, the sky, the garden...ect. At first I was disappointed,having purchased the deck because of the artwork. However I have since familiarized myself with the deck, and card meanings and find it works very well. I recommend it. And if you like the artwork style, check-out the 'Tarot Art Nouveau', and the 'Bach Flower Essence' cards.
