Not for climbing but after flaking it out a few times it performed similar to a climbing rope. It is packaged in a small coil that needs to be flaked out a few times to get the twists out of it. After that knots are tied and united easily, it has a durable outer shell with a strong light weight inner core that seems to be quite water resistant.
