The good the bad and the ugly
Short version. I recommend this product. Long version..... it is plug and play. U can do it in an hr with min tools. My factory radio bit the bullet after I rode it in a rain storm for an hour. Which to me is ridiculous that the radio is not waterproof!!! Wth!!! my 12 H D ultra was 7 screws for fairing and 4 bolts go to radio. The back bolt (closest to clutch lever) was a nightmare. Truth be told I dropped it and I never found it. I have 3 holding the radio in. A lot.of the quick connects need to be undone for easier access. The radio installs from inside the fairing to the dash (so from front of bike Towards back). Push hard and get it flush with the trim of the fairing (leave face off until you get it somewhat where u want it then add face to get it perfect to avoid damage). The smaller pin quick connect is used to connect radio and that is it. The bigger quick connect is no longer used. If u have rear speakers. As I do. Then u will need the other 4 wire quick connect. Here is the tricky part. If u don't have rear speakers skip the rest of this paragraph to the performance of radio... ok rear speaker people's. U will need to splice into the wiring harness and connect the left/right rear speakers. In my case it was pins 1 3 4 5. The best way to tell is to go to your rear speakers and get the colors to the wires. Those should be the same in the back as it is in the wiring harness. I melted mine together with a soldering gun. U don't have to. That is it.Performance * only a 4 star bc no clock. Come on folks it's a freaking 500 radio. Put a clock on there. Also the item you highlight (bass treble function etc) should light up a little bit more. At 70. I had to look to change from radio to Bluetooth a little harder than I should have to. The Bluetooth is very easy and... on my phone.. the radio buttons and handlebar controls changed the songs as well. Good bonus (skip or repeat a track) and of course volume controls work as well. Looks good on bike and it definitely is h20 proof. I plan on adding an amp and upgrade the speakers later on. STORAGE- I have a galaxy s7 wit a very small case ( not like an otter box) and it does not even come close to making it. It will not fit in that little space. The USB and AUX is inside this space I am to assume it is for waterproofing. So. The space is sort of a gimmick. It is, to me, useless. I may keep a pack of gum in there so the heat does not melt it. Other than that. I do not see much of a purpose. I AM NOT A PROFESSIONAL but the pics shows which pins I used and the wires as well. ON the pins. Skip the middle one and use the top two for right and bottom 2 for left ( as you sit on bike).

Very impressed
I’m very impress with the perfect fit. The 4 screws that holds the radio in was very hard to get out of the old radio. I only put two of them back. Also, I installed hog tune speakers in the faring. So way the sound is amazing.Lastly, my bike had 2 large connections in the back of the old radio. Only 1 set of cablesAre needed. Enjoy

Works Great, but takes out a few options
First of all there were entries in some of the other comments that said there was no clock. Theirs must have been an earlier version because the clock is on mine; front and center. The installation was super easy if you only have the front two speakers. It is plug and play. The hardest part is working where Harley put the mounting screws. The stock Harley has two plugs in the back of the stereo. The larger plug is not used on this stereo. However if you have rear speakers you will need to splice the rear speaker wiring that comes with the kit into the wires in the larger plug. Not difficult because the wiring color schemes match between the Aquav and the wiring in the Harley plug. If you are uncomfortable cutting wires in your wiring harness then you might want to get someone else to do it for you. What you lose is the volume and channel controls in the rear speakers, the cb, and probably the headset plug in the gas tank (I never use it so I did not test). You could probably get the volume and channel controls to work if you do some additional splicing but I won't be exploring that. The stereo sounds good and the bluetooth works pretty well. I miss the automatic volume control more than I thought I would, but after finding the sweet spot on the volume I don't use the up and down volume any more than I used to. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.Update 10/1/20: Several have commented about it being difficult to see the display in daytime/sunlight. This is correct. I haven't found it to be a huge problem, but it is a little annoying. Probably the thing that bothers me the more than anything is that I mostly use Spotify to listen to music, however this device changes back to iTunes almost every time I start and stop the bike. This does not happen any either of my 4 wheel vehicles stereos.

A good replacement for the stock dinosaur Harley radio.
Just bought the Aquatic-AV Bluetooth Radio for my 2007 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic. It's a nice way to freshen up your 2013 and earlier touring bike. Up to date technology, water resistant with USB and Bluetooth capabilities along with a simple plug and play installation. I will say the mounting bolts is a pain removing and installing. My bike has the HogPro amp and speaker set up. I was a little nervous with all of the wires hanging from the new unit, but as it turns out I didn't even use them. Just plug the main factory plug into the rear of the Aquatic AV and install the 4 mounting screws and you are ready to Rock-n Ride!! Another great thing about this unit is it retains the handlebar radio thumb controls. Overall, it's a good investment for your older Harley.Pros-Relatively easy install/wiring. Added volume. Works flawlessly with my iPhone 6. Shows album art from iPhone on screen. Made specifically for Harley Davidson bikes. Removable faceplate to store iPhone. Great fit.Cons- Difficult to see screen on sunny days. No AVC as with stock radio. No clock- however if you toggle thru speedometer, a clock function appears now. Just set the time and leave toggle on clock and you are set. Maneuvering around ipod menu can be difficult. Not Siriuus-XM compatible.

Easy to install and works great.
Installed in 2007 Harley Touring. Easy install and definitely plug and play. You can use the Harley controls on the handle bars to change volume and channels. Volume does not lower when you slow down like the Harley original radio did which was a nice feature so you have to manually lower it when coming to a stop. Took my amp out along with the original Harley radio as they said this radio has plenty of power. It does have plenty of power but I'd like a little more when I'm up at speed so I'll eventually get a stronger amp for it.

Fits 2007 Flhtcu with rear speakers....but some wiring required
Great upgrade to the bike. Flhtcu costumers will need to hunt down rear speaker wires housed in the 35 pin connector that was removed from the stock head unit. Minimal wiring is required to connect all four speakers. Aquatic av stated that they are looking into developing clear instructions in the future. It wasn't difficult to complete
