I don't know that I have noticed any volumizing (I have pretty normal, slightly wavy hair) and unfortunately it doesn't seem to have helped with my hair shedding. Overall I would say it's a good shampoo. T he only downside for me is I don't love the smell (it's kind of a potpourri/floral smell, hard to describe, but fairly strong) and my husband REALLY doesn't like the smell. He (politely) told me I do not smell good when using this shampoo.
