I've had acne a long time (yay adult acne) and it has gone through a few phases over the years, and apparently I'm starting another phase. I have a thorough skin care regimen, use all the right products to keep my skin looking nice, but was having some new congestion on my forehead. I have dry, and now dehydrated, acne prone skin (dry and dehydrated are different things). I use benzoyl peroxide to keep the closed comedones and cystic acne away, and a BHA and AHA alternating to help with surface whiteheads, milia, and large pores. But my forehead was fighting back. I've never had blackheads but there they were. I tried more BHA and nothing. The pores were still getting backed up at the surface level and oxidizing. I won't use a face wash with scrubbing beads since that can be far far too abrasive on my skin. Most face washes like that can cause micro-tears of the skin and make acne worse. I bought a muslin cloth from a YouTube recommendation and saw results in 2 days! 2 days! But I constantly forgot to add it to my laundry and so would only use it sporadically. I couldn't afford a Clarisonic and honestly didn't want one. Saw this, saw how cheap it was, and thought I'd try it and it's perfect! I keep one at the sink and one in the shower. It's a mild exfoliation which is perfect for my dryer skin. It can be too much in my dryest areas so please don't scrub too hard. I clean it with regular soap and water before and after using, so it's always there and always handy. I don't have to put it in the laundry or change the heads every few weeks. Since I use chemical exfoliants as well, I only use once a day in the evening. And if I miss a day its immediately noticeable, that congestion shows back up in maybe 2 days. This just gives that extra oomph my skin needed ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for skincare! *by A***Z on February 28, 2019* I began to feel like washing my face with my hands wasn't very effective for my skin and my fingers weren't thorough, enough so I decided to try these. The exfoliators are extremely soft with short, flexible bristles that feel nice on the skin. It is much easier to use these when washing your face as opposed to your hands because you simply wet it, apply your cleanser to the brush, and begin using it. They create a MUCH better lather so you can actually use less of your cleansing product!! The only downside is that the exfoliators are thin so they can feel a bit flimsy, but they still do a great job of cleaning my face. It gives me a much more thorough wash :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works for light exfoliation *by A***A on October 18, 2018* This is perfect for my face but won’t work well for heavy exfoliation. I do like the material because it’s easy to clean and it won’t get moldy and gross if left in the shower. I did find something very similar at Dollar Tree after purchasing this, so maybe it’s a bit overpriced?
