This works really well for steaming vegetables and the handle seems to stay cool. Overall its a very good investment. The only odd thing is that when I wash it the top is normal but there is a very odd beading pattern to the water like the interior has an oily coating on it consistently. I have washed it multiple times with significant soap but the weird beading patterns continue. Not sure what to make of that as their doesn’t seem to be oil on this area. I am wondering what they have coated the interior with.

Not a whole lot to say other than it was a good transaction and the lid is as described. Have used already to melt cheese on a burger with my hibachi grill.

Works Great! I now know I need a rectangular grill cover to accommodate my center console stove grill. That way I have options to cook steaks and burgers. However, the product works great for hamburgers!

The size of this is just right to fit within the flat surface of the lodge griddle, and not too small so that you're wasting surface area. Love this thing for getting some steam buildup on my griddle, like for melting cheese on burgers or cooking a fried egg. As a bonus, it works pretty well with a lodge 10.25 inch skillet and an all clad 10.5 inch skillet, to the point where I can share the same lid for all 3 as long as I don't need an absolutely airtight fit. Fits well on the sides of both of those pans minimizing lost space a smaller steam dome would waste. Stainless is a better material then a lot of the aluminum alternatives too. Don't hesitate to snag this thing if you have similar use cases.

I usually use an 8" pan to grill a half sandwich. This cover fits perfectly for a small pan and cheese melts quickly.

In lieu of purchasing a lid for our small fry pans of a new pan with a lid, we bought two of these. We have been using them daily for frying bacon & eggs and hamburgers, sausage patties and they work perfect. One very small downside is that if after removing bacon you leave the dome in the pan and the pan cools, you might need to heat it back up to compensate for a vacuum. I might drill a very small hole near the top to prevent a vacuum from forming.

Perfect for the Blackstone griddle. Much larger than the one we have but both fit perfectly on the griddle. Well made too.

Use this dome lid for melting cheese on burgers, basting eggs, grilled cheese sandwiches. Perfect sizedurable and cleans up easy.

The quality is good and sturdy, but unfortunately not fitted into my pan…

One of my best buys. Sure shiny surface will need polish once in a while but after a year of usage, its well worth than a couple of cheaper ones. The steel remains rust free, is heavy gauge assurance feel and handle accidental knocks well. Surface remains oxide, stains and does not turn yellow/patina. Top handle is also a boon as cool to touch after steaming eg. Too bad it does not come in different / bigger sizes.
