**Q: What is the proper way to use this? It didn't come with instructions. Do I soak it in water and then put it on top of the food, worms, and bedding?**
A: No you do not soak it in water.   Just cover your worms and everything with it.  I had to cut mine to size as it was bigger then my farm.   Go on line and look for a u tube video to help you figure it and your farm out

**Q: Where is the Jute grown? is it organic? where are the worm blankets manufactured?**

The jute is grown in India and the blankets are manufactured there. While it's an organic material, it is not certified organic.

A: Hi Brad,
The factory says that this is an organic binding agent to keep the jute fibers together. The smell subsides after a short time, but the reviewers are correct that it's a bit of an add smell at first.

This worm blanket has helped me with my fungus gnat issue. I use European night crawlers (which like cooler climates) the blanket entices them to compost my scraps at the surface of my worm bag even at hot temperatures when they usually would be at the bottom of the bag. The center of my mat was weak and ripped over time but it’s not really an issue.
