The lids fit well, though not quite as tightly as I had expected. The bowls are quite large which is nice. I could only give them 4 stars instead of 5 because the bowls have scuffs, scratches, and some slight discoloration (almost like rust but it's not rust) on them, as if they've been handled before or unpacked and repacked before. Nothing as bad as to return them outright, but the package had obviously been opened before. Still, all in all, very good bowls. The metal bowls themselves are durable and have held up through lots of whisking, mixing, marinading, washing, and storing. No rusting or denting. A good variety of sizes. The lids have not held up as well. The rubber was bowed out of the box and have never really flattened out. The only compaint I have is that the lids don't always stay snapped on, and I like the feature of having lid for my mixing bowls. Still think they are great though.
