Thanks Levelhike! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pleasantly surprised by the image quality *by J***L on May 10, 2025* Works great - I can tell no discernible difference between the output of this and the retrovision Ypbpr genesis cable. The video defaulted to widescreen, but I was able to switch it back to 4:3 in my tv settings. One callout is that it seems like this is designed with the expectation that it’s going to be used with a tv that applies HDR to the video. With the hdr off on my tv, I could definitely see some smudginess that wouldn’t have existed on a crt tv, but turning the hdr on made everything sharpen up and it’s frankly very impressive looking. I was seeing some elements of the sonic character in STH2 that I never noticed before on the crt tv. For $35 this should be more than acceptable for most people who just want to have fun with their old consoles. Yes, you COULD get a slightly better and true image by investing in the retrovision cables and something like a retrotink, but it’s maybe 6% better and costs 4x more.
