The Nuova Cromargan Fruit Knife and Fork Set by WMF features a polished stainless steel finish and a precise 29.8 cm length, designed by Jutta Keil for smooth cutting and elegant serving of fruits, cakes, and pastries. Dishwasher safe and stain resistant, this 2-piece set combines durability with timeless style, perfect for sophisticated dining occasions and everyday use.

## Description

For the Nuova collection, designer Jutta Keil created special cutlery for delectable moments. From the brunch knife to the cake server to the salad servers – a range of cutlery to suit all occasions and tastes: egg spoons for soft boiled eggs, a lasagne server for hearty pasta bakes, espresso and latte macchiato spoons for Italian coffee specialities. For the tongs in the collection, designer Andre Stocker created universal and pasta tongs as well as asparagus and perforated serving tongs. The latter can be used for example for picking up mozzarella and tomatoes – leaving the marinade on the plate. The special cutlery and dimensionally stable tongs are made from polished Cromargan and thanks to their sleek, timeless design, go well with all tableware. WMF items of cutlery are available separately or as a set and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Skilfully eating fruit with a knife and fork is something of a fine dining tradition in southern regions. It requires a small, light knife that can easily halve even hard fruit. The cake fork is used to pick up and eat bite-sized pieces – without sticky fingers. Fruit knives are used individually as bread knives on bread plates or together with cake forks for pastries and open toasted sandwiches. This special item of cutlery made form Cromargan is easy-care and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. WMF offers fruit knives and cake cutlery to suit almost every cutlery collection.

Natürlich ist so ein Set nicht zwingend notwendig, aber es macht das Servieren an der Kuchentafel mit Gästen deutlich angenehmer und wirkt sehr wertig. Das Messer ist eher groß, was sich beim Schneiden und Servieren von Torten als praktisch erweist. Insgesamt ein schönes, solides Set in gewohnter WMF-Qualität.

De taartschep viel mij tegen. Ligt niet lekker in de hand, het handvat is te plat en te kort. Het materiaal ziet er degelijk uit. Het taartmes lijkt mij wel functioneel en fijn. Goede grip, zinvolle kromming van het lemmet. Stevig en zo te zien lang genoeg. De reden om dit setje te houden en het product nog drie sterren te geven. Ik ga nog wel op zoek naar een goede taartschep.
