Philips SW3700/07 Star Wars Special Edition R2-D2 Men’s Electric Shaver

Love this bought for me as a present hence a delay in review as wanted to really try it out. This is my first ever electric razor & i’m an older git. Love that it can be used as a wet or dry, although with me if I use it without shaving gel it doesn’t give as a close a shave, but that might just be my stubble being stubborn. Great little electric shaver first one i’ve ever owned previous ones i’ve tried (family & friends) have never really touched me this one does. Still not quite as close as a razor blade but good enough and as I said I think i’ve got stubborn stubble any way!

Bought a Phillips electric shaver Xmas 1990 and it still shaves better than this one. It just doesn’t give a close shave . Never feels like it has full power. £40 I paid for this if I paid the recommended £119 I would have sent it back.

I have really enjoyed using this Shaver over the last 10 months only to have it break down, this is not a very good advert for these shavers, as my previous shaver that is similar in design is still going strong and that is about 5 years old now looks like there is a problem with R2D2, should have known better that to get one designed on him as he is more often than not in pieces. 😂

Novel design on casing and works well. Battery charge is easy but 2 pin so a bit of a faff when you get it, but when charged lasts weeks even using it daily. Not a wet shave finish buta comfortable close shave and it is easy to clean and maintain.

First of all I have been using phillips shavers for years and they are fantastic. The shave is smooth and close. The battery last a fantastic amount of time and it charges fairly quickly.This is a fantastic shaver especially for a Star Wars fan. Great price fast delivery and spare parts available for the future use.Love it!
