I decided to give them a go with some foam tips. There was a substantial difference. I am right now listening to Miles Davis Kind of Blue and am very impressed with what I am hearing. The quality is very good for a pair of tiny bluetooth earphones - they destroy my Apple Airpods. I was going to buy the Sony noise cancelling earbuds, but was put off by how they looked and the size of the case - I wanted something I could put in my pocket and earphones that didn't look bulky in my ears, even if it meant some compromise with sound quality and features. These are really small, discrete, very comfortable and the case is also very small. Get some foam tips (I have In Air, but Comply etc. will be just as good) and you'll be very happy. Change the setting to extra base in the app if it's still not deep enough for you. If you want a cheaper alternative - almost half the price - and don't mind a wire connecting the earphones (still bluetooth), look at Soundmagic E11BT (make sure to use foam tips on these too).
