It is sold as a shelving unit and so is designed for that purpose, to try and make 2 units out of one would not work and would probably be unsafe. **Q: Can i remove 3 bottom shelves? The dimensions of the unit are exactly what I need but I wish the unit is a little taller. I really like the quality of it and how easy it was to put together. Once assembled it is quite sturdy but may be a little wobbly while being assembled. I am very happy with this company and their excellent customer service. The seller was very helpful with solving a little issue I initially had with the product and responded very promptly to my request.
