Loved this yarn
I used this for plastic canvas that I do. I was so pleased with the color, strength and best of all it did not fray or pull apart as I was pulling it through the small holes.

Closest to gold color yarn
This yarn is on the lighter weight and stretchy, but as for color its great for projects that you want an actual metallic gold color. It's not soft but easy to work with. Using a 3.5mm crochet hook but could probably use a smaller hook.I do love the way it sparkles+

Lighter for scale...
Upon looking at the thread at its arrival, I thought it looked small. However I didn't expect to need to much for my project. Be aware that this stuff unravels very easily! Causing tangles and tomfoolery. It was a bit unruly to work with, but utilizing a steady hand is manuverable. I feel it served it's purpose well and I still have tuns to work with in future projects. This string is a trickster and seems to grow as you use it. Much like when eating a bowl of fettuccine. It looks at first that there isn't enough in your bowl, but as you consume it, the amount never seems to decrease. Left overs for days 😀.

Looks *amazing*, is super crunchy
Okay, so this stuff *looks* amazing. It's bright, it's gold, and exactly what we wanted for an Iron Man color themed crochet craft. That said, this stuff is crunchy-hard. It's not soft. Which - fine. It's also kind of hard to work with, though, as a result. I'm a little worried about the piece and how it'll handle (hand) washing, because I'm not sure if this yarn will actually hold up to being washed. So yes, looks amazing - but be aware it might be hard to work with unless you're prepared for stiff and firm.

Works up nicely but very rough
First- this isn't "yarn" as in soft fibers spun together. It's has a plastic synthetic feel to it. I used it for crochet, and tried several different hooks with it. The "yarn" is sturdy, doesn't tangle easily, and doesn't split or frizz. The stitches are very distinct and it looks pretty cool! However, it is very rough on the hands when working with it. I definitely wouldn't make any garments with it. It would be good for other accessories (belts, bags, etc), to make lace trim or stitch on as trim, for decorations, and for other crafts.

Awesome
Love this yarn. I would’ve liked it a little thicker but it works. The color is amazing

Perfect yarn! Better than I expected!
I absolutely love this yarn! I was looking for a metallic yarn that wasn’t too thin, wasn’t an arm and a leg, and easy to work with. Score! This yarn exceeded my expectations. It has the perfect amount of stretch and it pulls from the middle effortlessly. I work with crochet so I need my yarn to have some give and this has plenty. Worth every penny!

Surprisingly soft
I expected this yarn to be at least a little scratchy, but it's not! It feels like any other acrylic yarn. I look forward to crocheting it.

As good as a brand name product.
This gold lurex yarn is as good as the more expensive brand name product, only much less expensive. The only downside is because it had to travel around the world (made in China, shipped to Britain via the USA) it was vaccume sealed to lessen the bulk. This means that the yarn is squashed very flat. I'm hoping it regains it's shape.
