Pumice is fascinating stuff, borne out of the superheated earth. It is basically whipped volcanic glass that is made up of tiny air bubbles. This means that pumice is a lightweight volcanic rock that makes it perfect for use as a soil amendment.

**Q: Is it stone like weight ? Ya quite bit perlite like ?**
A: It's very light, just like perlite but size is bigger than perlite.

**Q: Does the pumice stone have expiry date? i saw the expiry date printed on the packet.**
A: Pumice stones are normally used to remove callus(dead cells) from feet. They normally degrade with in 5 to 6 weeks of daily use. Here we are using for gardening. You will see the water cloudy during wash otherwise my plants are healthy and roots get good support in water. If you are mixing with potting soil it do degrade gradually. The expiry date indicates that it seems. Anyway my plants are healthy. Happy gardening.

**Q: Whats the available particle size?**
A: The ones I received were approx 1/2 inch in size.

**Q: What is the size in mm? Maximum and minimum**
A: It's > 5mm. Go for it, it will make you happy. All  are unique size. I bought this after good research. (Tick helpful if you like 🙂)

Bought it for a succulent soil mix, turned out great, absolutely no dust, the granules were a bit chunky tbh but that will help in aeration and quick drainage, v happy w the purchaseEdit- ended up purchasing 3 more bags of this, turned out great every time, would recommend blindly to anyone looking for a soil amendment for aerating and quick drainage
