I have a 2002 F150 XLT and for the installation I used the main piece with the left/right wings with the sheet metal screws through existing holes through my head unit. I wasn't able to use the strap coming from the back and straight down because the pre-outs for the deck were in the way but the radio is solidly mounted now. Installation was a bit more difficult than I had anticipated; it wasn't immediately clear how with only two hands I was going to put the 3 pieces I needed together but that might not be a problem for you. Also of the two posts that come out of the top of the main hoop one had to be ground down as it interfered with the dash mounting but this was not very significant at all. Overall the wife is pleased with how it turned out, that earns it 5 stars in my book.
