GT-50-2 Cell Phone/Camera Grip Tape

This is a fantastic solution to creating a secure grip to your slippery smartphone. I had been searching for a case for my Moto Z Force that wasn't slippery itself. None of the cases I found on Amazon were non-slip. All of them deploy TPC (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) on the exterior or the case. Which a great material but not as non-slip as soft silicone. I have two different cases , on two different phones... both TPC , both are still a bit slippery but better than nothing.In my struggle to find a solution, I remembered back to my snowboarding days when I used grip tape ... not unlike skateboard grip tape. I thought it would work but wasn't looking forward to a sandpaper phone.I stumbled upon this product and noticed that others are using it on firearms, which says alot. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. It has the PERFECT feel and grip.It's easy to cut ... sticky enough to stay and comes with 2 strips, which was enough to do both of these large Moto Z Force Smartphone with case !!!Great tape at a bargain price. I can see buying this again. Very happy with product and seller was fast to ship ... even got it a few days earlier than was expected.Pro Tip : Use a heat gun on low to help manipulate the tape to adhere to the surface and mold around bumps and curved edges. The heat gun made a huge difference.

Just the right amount of grippy-ness, and the adhesive looks as though it's going to hold to the phone just fine. I've had it on about a week now, and I couldn't be happier. My phone is the Galaxy S8 Active, and though it did great in the drop-test, I don't really want to try it out myself. The sides of the phone are super smooth metal, and it just slips right out of the hand constantly. I put some small strips down the sides (see pics) and WOW, it's like a whole new phone! The tape is a little thicker than I had expected, but it ended up being EXACTLY what I wanted/needed. Couldn't be happier. Have more than enough left over to wrap the handle of my revolver as well :-D great product, highly recommend!BTW - the sticker on the back of the phone is from D-Brand, color is Hyperblack Titanium. Look them up, they've got cool "skins" for phones.

I currently use the Rhinoshield mod and I didn’t like the slippery feel to the bumper so I looked around for grips that might help. I was concerned that two strips were not enough but considering that I used it for four phones and still have some left over, it was surprisingly more than enough. I didn’t expect to like this product as much as I do, so it was a nice surprise to realize I did. It’s completely preference how you want to use it, my oldest son wanted the bottom half of his phone (on the back) covered with it; while my younger son just wanted strips on the side going down vertically (same as my daughter). I only needed strips to cover where I grip my phone the most on my case. I would buy this product again as well as recommend it to anyone looking to make their phone have more grip.

Exactly what I was looking for. Very slim grip to add to a cell phone case that was a little slick. Enough product to work on two phones as well unless you fully cover a phone. I did about 75% of the back and sides and have plenty left to do it again. Not sure how it will last but seems like it will stand up to use.Updated 8/24/2022I have now used this product for about 5 years (two phones). It holds up incredibly well! it has been on my latest phone case (Moto Z4) for two and a half years now without it coming off at all! This time I covered just the slim sides and a patch on the back center and it makes the phone so much easier to hold without worry of slipping. I will be using this product on all future phones!

I have a Samsung S6 with a super slippery Morphie Juice pack. In the week prior to installing this skin, I dropped my phone twice!The skin works really well and handled the curves (on the side) when I used a hair dryer on it to slightly heat up the skin (per the instructions). I covered the bulk of the body area and sides (where I grip the phone) but it would take a lot of effort to perfectly cut the skin to cover the top, bottom, and rounded corners. Nothing to do with the quality of the product - I just lack the patience and the cutting skills.I really like how much more grippy my phone is after the skin.

I actually use this for my AlienWare 17 R2 laptop which is stupid heavy to pull out of my laptop bag. Our hands here in Arizona are always dry and we have no grip whatsoever, so pulling out a huge heavy laptop is actually difficult because you can't grip it. I got this tape set which comes with two strips, and applied one strip on the top cover of the laptop and the other strip on the bottom. So now when I pull the AW out, it's a breeze because I can actually GRIP it now. My forearms are thanking me, lol. ANYWAY, it's a really nice grip texture, it doesn't sand your fingertips. If I needed a grip like that on my iPhone I'd use this stuff.

The product itself is exceptional (5 stars!). I own a lot of glass top tables, and have a collection of the Yeti type insulated tumblers (which are metal and very heavy). I purchased this tape to put on the bottom of the cups to prevent scratching or breaking the table tops. It works to perfection and is a life (and table top) saver. Getting it wet, washing it etc. doesn't affect it, so it remains in place and functional. Have also used it on a phone that my mom has as she has bad arthritis and was having difficulty holding the phone without dropping it. Problem solved. Having said that, the shipping experience was horrible. Took much longer to arrive than they originally said. They then adjusted the shipping time and again no arrival. Finally gave up, got a refund, and re-ordered. The exact same thing happened the second time. So... product is excellent, but be prepared for shipping delays.

Put this on the back on my iPhone case a few years ago and still holding strong. Every case seems to be slippery but this helped a lot adding texture to my Otterbox case. My phone will no longer slide like a hockey puck on ice when I touch it on a smooth surface.
