We had a pole we used for mopping floor that has the same size and we just used it for this brush. The brush really holds a lot of water and because of that, it kept falling off from the pole. I tried to turn it really tight but it still got loose. Apart from this, it's a great brush and was able to clean the smallest dirt. That's probably the only downside of it.
