Woodwick Large Hourglass Candle, Gold Spun Sugar

I was a huge fan of Woodwick Candles long before Yankee candle bought them. Admittedly, I was a little hesitant about the hourglass container vs the older, small circle, but I’m sold. The shape of the glass does a great job of ensuring no wax is wasted. The wood wick is the same as it was; easy to light with a really soothing crackle reminiscent of a wood burning fire. The smell really fills the room here with a nice vanilla aroma. What really impressed me here is how long this lasted. It’s advertised as 120 hours, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s even more than that. Love, love, love these candles.

Absolutely love this candle I’ve had it and burned it almost daily for weeks and it’s still going. Smell is amazing it was definitely worth paying a bit more.

When looking for a new candle to make the house smell nice I go for Woodwick candles first. It’s a tie for the best feature. The fragrance is wonderful. I love the vanilla scent because it has a strong but very pleasant smell and feel to it. I used to buy stand alone candles that I found only had the scent sprayed on the outside. This is not one of those candles. The other feature I really like is the sound it makes when the candle wick is lit. It sounds like a wood fireplace fire. Crackles, and occasional light snaps. Great for when you settle down with a good book. It just adds that right amount of sound to make it feel a little warmer in the room.However, you do pay for the quality. Is it overly expensive? No, not for the quality and for the number of hours the candle will last. But when you can find them on sale, I usually buy 2-3 of them.

The odor is fantasic, and they last forever.

Oh candles.... Why can you not be in one piece instead of broken when I receive you? I received my shipment broken despite the packaging.I asked for a replacement and the next day it came all contained and better. I've updated my review to indicate a much more positive experience and yes the smell is good 😊

Bought this during deal days and love the high quality and scent of this candle. After lighting it for only a few minutes, the scent already traveled upstairs and throughout the house for a warm, relaxing spiced scent, perfect for the holiday season. The wick cracked as it burns, like a little fireplace on your table top- so unique and soothing! The only reason I'm taking a star off is because you have to trim the wick each time before lighting the candle; otherwise, the flame gets too high. Would highly recommend!

I'm a big fan of the wood wick candles. I don't have a fireplace so the crackling candle is the next best thing. I gifted this to a friend who let me know afterwards that they loved the smell. She said it smelled like fall without being pungent and overwhelming.

The cupcake candles are an AMAZING scent! What arrived was a gigantic mess.Because people are saying these are arriving melted like mine did: A fire hazard warning. (I had to repair these myself and I am NOT happy about that!) Both were melted all the way down to the bottom, which means they got VERY hot! For some, it's an easy fix to run a heat gun over the top... if you own one. And IF the wick is still centered like the one I marked "Candle 2". For others, like the one I marked "Candle1" in the image, the candle has gotten so hot in storage that there is not only wax loss but a genuine FIRE HAZARD because the wick has moved off center. The metal wick clip was on the side of the glass. You NEED to return it if it looks like this. Do NOT light the candle! Especially if there is other broken debris that can catch fire and cause your candle to EXPLODE.I knew how to repair both of mine but not everyone understands what to look for or even wants to/can repair quickly with a heat gun.Pros:- Smell is exactly what I wanted, when I repaired the candles it scented the whole house. My uncle was able to guess the scent.- The wooden wick is a lot of fun.- Attractive Design- Both arrived heavily bubble wrapped and were separated into 2 boxes by whoever handled the shipping. Either Amazon or the seller, Amazing Pride, had the glass very well protected from breakage. Not 1 crack.Cons:- Needed to be shrink wrapped or held in place some other way as a safety measure to prevent spilling by the manufacturer. All the bubble wrap in the world will not save a melted candle that has not been stored properly as it is handed off from company to company. There is really no excuse for it from anyone party to this. Someone's house is going to burn down!

Questa è stata una delle mie prime candele in assoluto, non potevo non ricomprarla in versione grande con l’offerta!!! Profuma tantissimo e ha lo stoppino che scoppietta come se foste vicini ad un caminetto. Adoro questa linea di candele hanno sempre profumazioni buone e persistenti
