Was reluctant to buy cymbals in a set again since I wasn't really happy with the K Sweet pack I bought previously but these sound very good to my ear. 16 crash is gorgeous. 20 ride is very nice and I can tell will only get better with time. While the 18 certainly isn't my go-to crash, it makes a real nice bashy washy ride. Have used New Beat hi hats for almost 50 years and been happy with them. After replacing my old cheaper cymbals (camber ride, avanti hats, and zildian zht fast crash) with this delightfully shimmering and beautiful set of K's, I have to first say that the 20'' is the most pleasing ride I have ever heard! The 16 and 18 crash also sound marvelously wonderful, while the hats are a great combination of cutting chick and dark smooth rolling tone. I honestly can't wait to record with these after listening to them live. K Hybrid is more for Popular Music (Pop). Worship (if you can find them) are made primarily for church services. You can use any of these for church, however the Dark will sound very dark, the Hybrid will sound both bright and dark (in the middle) and if you can get your hands on a Worship set, they will sound bright and uplifting, however I have never actually seen a Worship set for sale anywhere. Please contact Zildjian directly for information if you need a “Worship” set. As far as price, a Hybrid K set will cost you about $800 or more and a Dark K will cost you about $1000 or more. As far as “Worship” cymbals you may want to consider a set of Zildjian A cymbals because they will have a bright and uplifting sound and they cost about the same as the K Hybrid set at about $800 or more. They have a different sound, finish and sizing. Im a worship pastor at a church and our old cymbals were very harsh sounding and we had a very difficult time controlling the sound. These produce a much warmer sound and don't bleed into the vocal miss near as much.
