Vapour Organic Beauty Stratus Skin Perfecting Primer Luminous, 903, 0.60 Ounce

First, it's not clear if this page is only for the stick foundation, or both liquid & stick. Anyway, I use the stick. This is a really lovely primer. I use as much organic as I can. But there are still a few non-organic things that I still love. So, I'm using this organic primer as a kind of barrier against non-organics. That said, I'm not thrilled about the Lecithin in the ingredient list -- organic or not, that does nasty stuff in your digestive system. And it would be interesting to learn what kind of Lecithin it is. But I'm not eating it, so it's not a deal-breaker. There is a very slight hemp-y type fragrance ... also not a deal-breaker because it only smells in the tube, not noticeable on my face.The product lasts a long time in stick form. I use it daily and it barely seems to shrink, yet I definitely see results. I also use it as an eye primer because it makes my eyeshadow last many hours longer than without primer. I use mostly mineral/powder shadows and I have slightly oily lids. So, without a primer the creases would appear within a few hours. With this product there are no creases ... ever. I've even slept in it and woke up crease free. Not that my eye make-up was completely intact ... but what was left was crease-free :) It does not completely eliminate pores like some non-organic primers I've used, but it does a decent job priming my face as well as my eyes. It works well with both powder and liquid foundations. It's not heavy at all, feels very breathable and lightweight on my skin. So, organic plus long wearing plus above average performance equals 5 stars in my book.One thing to know is the product is firm, not really creamy. So there is a bit of tugging on the skin when you apply it. I find that using the warmth of my fingertips to tap it in helps limit tugging on fragile skin around my eyes.The tube is about 3.5 inches tall with the diameter of a Quarter coin. I'm not exactly sure, but I'm estimating it will last about 6 months using it nearly every day. A little goes a long way with this product.

I got this for the convenience rather than the "organic" nature of the product; I don't know as "clean" beauty is anything more than a marketing tool. This also has a fragrance ( not unpleasant) that sensitive skin may react to. I'm also a licensed esthetician so when I review a product I try to go in depth. For me I need a lot of hydration in a primer as well as something for foundation to adhere to. It does blur/ leave skin silky so it's definitely beneficial for dry/nature skin; I guess I wish it had a bit more oomph to it. And for the price I expect a LOT; it's almost as costly as my Tatcha primer ( also over priced) but doesn't cover as well.I DO like the stick form. I find stick products easiest to apply & are convenient. I'm going to give it a bit more time then decide whether or not to return it.

About eight months ago I started looking for & using "clean" cosmetics. For two years prior to that I had been looking for a primer that would visually blur lines and pores, and have tried many at all price points, both "dirty" and "clean". This is the fourth clean primer I've tried and it is my last. It does everything I want it to do, has a very light herbal scent that no one who gets close to me can smell, feels so very good on my face, is weightless, and lasts all day. I also use the following Vapour products: Atmosphere Luminous foundation, Illusionist cover, Aura Multi-Use cheek color (on my eyes, too), Mesmerize eye color & eye liner, Sirene lip color, and Elixer Plumping gloss. (I also use RMS Living Luminizer & Zuzu mascara, which I also adore.) The look is better than just natural, and is a soft glow--not dewey nor matte. People tell me all the time that I look younger than I did five years ago, and this is due in part to eating a Primal & organic diet for eight months, using organic unrefined coconut oil to remove make-up, organic baking soda as a scrub, organic avocado oil and Queen Bee Daily Vitamin K Serum for moisturizing (sinks right in), All Natural Queen Bee Eye Cream for under eye circles treatment, and Vapour cosmetics.You can order a variety of samples from their website for about $15, which I did twice before I placed my first Vapour order. They say the samples will only last for two makeup applications, but they are generous samples & I still have some left in every container after using them for a couple of weeks, and I carry them in my pocketbook for touch-ups, which I rarely need. I travel a lot, so my second Vapour order duplicated my first so that I can have them in my travel bag ready to pick up & go. The quality of Vapour products is so very high and the amounts last so long, that I consider them very much worth the price--you can spend much, much more and get much, much less. I recommend Vapour products without reservation.

I really like this primer. I bought it because I have developed rosacea and needed a little barrier for my skin to hide the redness. I've tried other primers and they felt heavy and made me break out. This product is very light and makes my skin feel like silk. Due to my dry skin and rosacea I layer on several products before foundation or concealer. I've played around and find that I don't need Eucerin Redness Relief Daily Perfecting Lotion if I use the Vapour Primer. So, I use a little rose hip seed oil, Cerave facial moisturizing lotion SPF 30 then the primer. Then all I have to do is conceal under eyes, then a light powder. My skin has improved immensely. I'm looking forward to purchasing more Vapour Organics products. Btw, I'm 51, fair dry skin with rosacea. Also I notice no scent as others have mentioned.

I have combo/oil skin. I don't feel like this helped my makeup stay on any longer than normal. I did notice a slight pore reduction. I don't mind the smell either.
