I wanted to start with night time and then move to day weaning. This book is so special. I read it during our final nursing session of the day for a week with my toddler. The book features a conversation between a toddler and the mama about weaning and it shares all of the concerns that a little one may be going through. It empathetically connects to both mama and baby’s emotions about the weaning process. My little one was successfully weaned during the night without any major problem. It might be better for a 2 year old. Nonetheless, it was helpful to read a few times when we dropped our final 2 nursings and I think it did really help my little one understand the transition.
