Review: Change the settings on your cricut machine - I purchased this product because of the price it is unbeatable. I read the reviews but took a chance. I’m using this vinyl for stencils the adhesion is great! There’s no bleeding of paint. The backing does come off. I created my first project and the backing just came off and stuck to the vinyl. I had to individually remove each piece as the vinyl was on the transfer paper. I created a return BUT.... I gave it a second chance because I like the matte look CHANGE THE SETTINGS ON YOUR MACHINE TO THE LOWEST PRESSURE I have a cricut explore air 2. Select custom material select printable vinyl and for pressure the settings automatically select the default which has a higher cutting pressure select the LESS pressure from the pull down tab and it works great. I did a second run and the backing did not cut and it worked beautifully. Happy crafting!!

**Q: About the white permanent vinyl, do you have any suggestion of the cricut setting?**
A: Cricut: Blade-standard, Setting-Iron on; Silhoutte Cameo: Blade-1, Speed-3, Force-6, Passes-2, Material-Smooth. These specs are stated in the bullet points at the top of the listing. I use this vinyl on a USCutter MH-27 and have been very pleased. On my MH cutter I have adjusted the cutting blade just slightly deeper than Oracal 631 and 651.  I have used it for Farmhouse and Christmas sign making as a hobby not professionally.

**Q: The paper backing is sticking to the vinyl why is this?**
A: It needs a stronger transfer tape.

**Q: Could I use this to 'blackout' a large portion of a vehicle window?**
A: You can use this adhesive vinyl on smooth surface like glass, cars, windows. It's used for stickers.

**Q: Hi is this vinyl glossy? Or matte?**
A: It looks glossy but I not tried it yet (if that helps).
