Expertly Hand-Painted Hand-painted, made with high-quality polyresin. True To The Original In 1976 prop maker Andrew Ainsworth of Shepperton created the original Stormtrooper helmets and armour for the first movie. These figurines are based on the original moulds Andrew produced. Accept no compromises. Officially Licensed Stormtrooper Merchandise Known for their white suits and shocking aim, the Stormtrooper is easily noticeable by all! Based on the original moulds that Andrew Ainsworth of Shepperton Design Studios produced, Nemesis Now's range of Stormtroopers are as close as it gets to the original film props. I saw these on another site for £10 more, so I was really pleased to be able to pick these up on Amazon for less. They are great quality and although they are made of resin, they have a good weight to them and feel like they could be made of metal even though they are not. I thought they were metal at first when I took them out of the box as they were so cold. They look great on my display shelf and everyone who sees them are amazed at the detail. Some of the reviews said the paint finish was a bit iffy in places, but I have to say mine are nice and glossy and very well finished overall. Maybe there has been a change in process.
