**Q: Hi, can I add miso paste to this soup? Thank you**
A: Yes, you can. In Japan, when we make miso soup, we often add miso paste to a dashi soup. By doing so, your miso soup gets deeper umami flavor. This dashi soup stock goes highly well with miso recipes.

**Q: It says it’s processed in Japan, but is it made in Japan start to finish?**
A: Yes, this is blended in Hiroshima(Japan), and packed in Kyoto(Japan).

**Q: Do this have a fishy taste? I hate seafood..**
A: The umami dashi soup stock has an incredibly delicate flavor.  There are 7 main ingredients but I don't find any one of them dominant. Its the blending of those ingredients that make the 'whole greater than the sum of its parts'. By adding complementary ingredients, such as thinly sliced mushrooms, green onion, baby carrots, maybe a protein source, the result is quite delicious. Although there is fish in the ingredient list, the broth does not seem to have a 'fishy' taste, which I do not care for either.  However, if you're super sensitive to that flavor, you might detect it.  Hope this helps.
