It smells like vanilla cake, has a smooth, creamy consistency that applies like butter to my lips, and the color is rich and pigmented. A little goes a long way with this! It has a slight stickiness to it until it dries down (which takes a minute or two), and it really does act like an early version of a lip stain that I keep coming back to. The color is vibrant, its transfer-proof (with the exception of oil-based foods like an oily soup), and it lasts for hours on my once I apply it. The doe foot applicator makes for easy, precise application, and even as color slow wears off throughout the day, it leaves a soft, muted stain behind on my lips. I’m a huge fan.

NYX makes some pretty great makeup, and their Soft Matte Lip Creme is one of my favorites.
