**Q: Why isn't this threaded to fit the top of a standard light stand?**
A: Great question. It is meant to fit on a standard grip head that many videographers own. It usually is used on c-stands, though I use my grip head with a light stand. I'll try to send a pic so you can see how it works.

**Q: Why does my package of my product say Easyhood brand when there is no mention of that on this seller page?**
A: That is a question for the seller. Does it matter what brand name is on the package if the product does what it is supposed to do?  I have two of these and they work great despite a branding issue.

**Q: How long is it? The box dimension appear smaller than the product dimensions.**
A: Big enough to support a “typical” boom arm.

**Q: Where is this made/manufactured?**
A: No idea. Possibly China. So what!?

This boom pole holder is sturdy, simple and works perfectly. (The only negative reviews seemed to be for some other product--irrelevant info.) A little extra length on the mounting stud gives clearance both to insert the boom and to operate the grip head that this mounts in. Note that it is intended to mount on a stand with a grip head, and without a grip head this will be of no use. (Grip head not included but readily available at about $25.)
