Review: Unlike many things in life, This cable does what its supposed to do - Excellent - This DisplayPort Cable was received in perfect, brand new condition as advertised. Cable has a heavy, high quality casing and the connectors are solid. I'm very pleased with the price (~ $15) and this product will last a long time. Usage I've connected two different Dell Laptops (Precision M6400 and Lattitude E6410) to my Samsung TV. In both cases, the TV display immediately mirrored the laptop screen's display. Just had to do a bit of work to get the audio to go through the DisplayPort Cable to the TV instead of my laptop speakers. Since I figured it out (took 2 mins), I'll share: Windows 7: I only had to right click the volume control at the bottom right and select "Playback Devices". From there, I changed the Default device from "Speakers" to "Digital Audio (S/PDIF)" ... and back to speakers once I unplugged. Performance: Video is sharp. You may need to adjust your TV settings to ensure the video doesn't run off the edge of the TV. Because it is digital, the Audio sounds much better going through the DisplayPort Cable into the TV and from the TV to my Receiver using HDMI than it did going through the laptop headphone port to Left/Right RCA jacks into the Receiver. Not surprising, but very noticable. iTunes never sounded so good!
