We’ve had a few warmer winters recently and that has not helped keep the fly population in check. The sconce look is good and decent quality but this will not be a permanent installment. I mounted to a plate stand to use as needed with easy access to still change the glue trap. As the weather warms up, flies will start to come out and so will these. As common sense would suggest, it works best when it’s the brightest or only light source. I had one in a slightly darker room and it got a lot of action on day1. The other one was set up near a window where the bugs attract and still got some. I bought for flies but it has surprisingly attracted the Asian beetles too.
