It doesn't get much easier than this, use the sponge applicator that is built into the cap and apply a thin coat and allow it to dry. (this takes a few minutes) once it is dry you can take a cloth and just give it a quick buff! You can skip that step and they will be shiny but the quick buff really puts it over the top! The shine lasts for weeks to months depending on how you use your shoes or boots. It has a pleasant smell also. It is more of a cream type paste that goes on really smothly. It works well on new boots as well as old boots. It really breathes new life into old beat up boots.
