Its elegant herringbone purfling and classic rosette combine premium tonewoods with refined craftsmanship, delivering rich, resonant sound and smooth playability for serious musicians. ## Description Part of our Tonewood Reserve Series, the Recording King RD-328 evokes classic dreadnought style, sound & volume thanks to hand-selected tonewoods and vintage styling. The foundation of the 328’s tone comes from select solid Adirondack spruce tops. Adirondack delivers a stiff, loud, lightweight top with powerful fundamental tone and excellent projection. Combine the hand-picked Adirondack tops with select solid Rosewood back and sides, and you have the all-solid basics for guitars that have powered genres like bluegrass and country for decades. We finish the 328 with classy, low-key fretboard dots on the rosewood fretboard, and a vintage-style tortoise pickguard to protect the top. The 328’s classic rosette design and herringbone body purfling complete the traditional look. For players that need the power and volume that only a dreadnought can provide and still want the warmth and vibrance that comes with premium tonewoods, the RD-328 offers the best of both worlds at a fraction of the price of a vintage instrument. ## Features - Select Solid Adirondack Spruce Top - Select Solid Rosewood Back & Sides - Rosewood Fretboard - Herringbone Purfling - Classic Rosette ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07Z9LZ6V9 | | Back Material Type | Rosewood | | Best Sellers Rank | #158,086 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #477 in Steel-String Acoustic Guitars | | Body Material | Rosewood | | Body Material Type | Rosewood | | Brand | Recording King | | Brand Name | Recording King | | Color | Natural | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 24 Reviews | | Fretboard Material Type | Rosewood | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00840246041548 | | Guitar Bridge System | Fixed | | Guitar Pickup Configuration | No Pickup | | Hand Orientation | Right | | Instrument | Guitar | | Instrument Size | Dreadnought | | Item Dimensions | 41.25 x 15.5 x 5 inches | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 41.25"L x 15.5"W x 5"H | | Item Type Name | Acoustic Guitar | | Item Weight | 7 pounds | | Manufacturer | Recording King | | Manufacturer Part Number | RD-328 | | Material Type | Rose Wood, Spruce Wood | | Model Name | RD-328 | | Model Number | RD-328 | | Model Series | Tonewood Reserve | | Neck Material Type | Mahogany | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Strings | 6 | | Scale Length | 25.4 | | String Material Type | Phosphor Bronze | | Top Material Type | Adirondack Spruce | | UPC | 840246041548 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | 5 years. | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Recording King - **Color:** Natural - **Top Material Type:** Adirondack Spruce - **Body Material:** Rosewood - **Back Material Type:** Rosewood - **Neck Material Type:** Mahogany - **Fretboard Material Type:** Rosewood - **Guitar Pickup Configuration:** No Pickup - **String Material Type:** Phosphor Bronze - **Hand Orientation:** Right ## Images ![Recording King RD-328 Tonewood Reserve All Solid Dreadnought (Rosewood) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71+-6PTzdpL.jpg) ![Recording King RD-328 Tonewood Reserve All Solid Dreadnought (Rosewood) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/711gxfwe2mL.jpg) ![Recording King RD-328 Tonewood Reserve All Solid Dreadnought (Rosewood) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61qALZ6LPqL.jpg) ![Recording King RD-328 Tonewood Reserve All Solid Dreadnought (Rosewood) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61gn68i92EL.jpg) ![Recording King RD-328 Tonewood Reserve All Solid Dreadnought (Rosewood) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61-Iu9qWd1L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: does this have an adjustable truss rod?** A: Yes **Q: Does this come with case?** A: I don't know if it comes at all.
