10 PCS Premium 8.25 Inch Upgraded Reinforced Plastic Ground Spikes, ABS Lights Replacement Stakes, Draining Design, Ideal for Solar Torch Garden Lights

The opening of my existing solar light poles is approximately 1/16 inch smaller than these stakes and most others available on Amazon, at least within reasonable price range. I made these stakes fit snug by heating up my existing poles and pushing in stake while pole is hot. I do not have heat gun so I placed over stove flame for approximately 20 seconds, turning constantly to prevent overheating or melting, then immediately pushed in stake. So far, I've installed 2 with no issues, stakes are made of sturdy plastic and are of good quality. Also noteworthy, when affixing to ground, use a rubber mallet, instead of trying to force by hand (how I broke my original stakes), which should allow you to feel for rocks.

Purchase these to replace the stakes I received when I purchased my solar lights from Lowe’s. They fit perfect very sturdy the length of these stakes are perfect for a sturdy support so lights don’t fall over.

These are nice, but I had to pinch the end of my solar light posts, in order to have the light to stand straight on the spike.

Bought these in hopes they would fit the lighted camdy cane path markers. They do not...too big. Try again...

The OEM stakes for my landscape lights were brittle and many broke within a few months. The lights are along a path and occasionally get bumped. I purchased these stakes as replacements. I knew when I ordered them that they might be larger than the shafts on my lights but I couldn't find any that seemed to be the correct size (between 1/2" and 3/4"). These were too large but I easily cut them down with a utility knife. The plastic seems much less brittle and the stakes are longer making the lights stand taller, which I like.The slots for the wire from the light were much smaller that my wires but I used the utility knife and a pair of pliers to remove the web in one quarter completely so the wire wouldn't be pinched. This worked fine.

The diameter of the stakes I received is too small so the connection and the light fixture falls off/ comes apart at the joint. I measured the inside diameter of the mount tube at 14/16 of an inch or a decimal equivalent of .875 of an inch. The stakes I received are decimal .83 of an inch or a fraction equivalent of 13.25 / 16 of an inch, ... which is too small.

These replacement stakes work perfectly with my existing Hampton Bay solar lights.
