Armour Star Roast Beef With Gravy, Canned Meat, 12 Oz, Pack of 1

Pot roast, mashed potatoes w/gravy, and peas and carrots are a favorite of mine. I decided to give Armour's Roast Beef a try with this type of meal in mind.Positives:I liked the taste.The beef was lean without any gristle or fat.Negatives:$6.00 for one can is too expensive for repeat purchases.The worst negative is that there wasn't much actual meat in the can.There was a ton of liquid/gravy which was great over the mashed potatoes, but I bought beef, not a can of gravy.I really didn't get a filling meal out of the entire can, because there was so little meat. That's a deal breaker for me.At half the price I might buy this on a regular basis, but this is a one and done for me. For $10 or $12, I could have bought an entire top or bottom round roast, and made 4-6 large meat and potato meals with it. Sadly, the value is just not here for this Armour product.

BARELY PIERCED THE CAN OPEN, AND THE STINK CAME RUSHING OUT. IT WAS NOT SPOILED, THAT WAS HOW IT SMELLED. THE DOGS WOULDN'T TOUCH IT EITHER! SMELLED SO BAD, I HAD TO DOUBLE PLASTIC BAG IT AND TAKE IT TO THE CANS OUTSIDE. THE SMELL LINGERED FOR A LONG TIME, DESPITE ROOM SPRAY AND INSCENSE!

I keep hoping the packaging will change ! The key to open the can never seems to work...it breaks off or refuses to go completely around the can. I have wasted so much money on this product because I cannot get it out ! I tried traditional can openers to get the lid off but that makes it unsafe because of the jagged edges.I beg you to PLEASE change the packaging so I can enjoy your food product again!Until then, I will not be buying this product!

I bought this to help my old dog eat better. She gets a small amount mixed with her dry kibble. I was happy to have found it. However in less than two weeks the price went up almost $6.00 a can. At $10+ a can I will not be buying it again.

I ordered two of the "Twenty-four 12 oz cans of Armour Star Roast Beef With Gravy Canned Meat", but I received single cans in each shipment, not 24 as advertised. Okay, they made a mistake on their advertised price, but that's their problem, not mine! All you can do is makes notes like this because there is no way to actually speak to anyone about it. Total lie and rip off.

Tastes terrible. I fed it to my dog who liked it.

do i need to add water to it so it multiples or something like a gremlin. i thought it was 24 pack. sad, so sad. i thought it could last all month. maybe there is 24 in the can like a those dolls.

This roast beef is the best! It’s great poured over Jasmine rice, mashed potatoes and egg noodles. It’s conveinent and makes for a quick meal when running out of time. I wish they sold it in grocery stores. But very happy that Amazon sells it. It’s the only brand I ever buy!
