Hard to read clock face
I was hoping that this lovely clock face would turn out to be lighter/brighter than the photo. Not so; it's actually quite dark at the top and the gold hands were not as good a choice as the black. It's also on its third battery in little more than a month. Each works fine for 3-5 days, then stops completely. Of course that may be because I painted a thin layer of white-out on the hands so I could see them! Overall, this clock was a mistake and is being replaced with something different.
