Motorcycle Touring Tent
We bought this tent immediately prior to a motorcycle touring trip around Western Europe, and found it to be excellent for this purpose, with one exception, which I'll come to in a moment. The tent is designed to erect flysheet-first, which is a major advantage when pitching in the pouring rain. To make things even easier, we found it was quite possible to leave the inner tent hooked into the outer, which made subsequent pitching an even quicker affair. Having read the reviews, we threw away the original pegs and bought some sturdier items.Regrettably, we experienced a great deal of bad weather on the trip, including very heavy rain. The tent leaked very badly in the porch area, with water dripping through the porch roof panels in a way which suggested that they had not been proofed during manufacture. The area around the side zip was especially bad.Altogether, a well-designed, comfortable, roomy tent for TWO person use, and one which doesn't break the bank. However, quality control may be an issue. We have accordingly raised the matter with the manufacturer and await their response.

Ideal
After years of buying cheap tents for festivals, (didn't see the point in spending lots of money on something that gets wrecked by the end of the weekend!) I finally invested in a decent tent. I didn't want to spent too much on it, but after last year's wet summer, I wanted one that was waterproof. This is great value for money, sleeps two confortably with plenty of room and the porch is a good size. Well worth the money.

ideal for a motorcycle
We purchased this tent to carry on a motorcycle so the weight is very important to us. It is light and compact. We tested it in the garden for a few days in rain and wind - no problems at all. It is easy and takes only a few minutes to erect and pack. It is best to pack with the sleeping area attached as it saves time. We purchased it for the two of us and find it ideal although we would find it too snug [small] for three people. The front is ideal for storage of equipment, boots etc and making a brew out of the wind. The only concern is the quality of the guy lines and pegs, they do seem flimsy but time will tell. Highly recommened especially for the price. We are delighted.

Easy to pitch, Good Value
This is probably better suited for two people rather than three, I can't imagine squeezing 3 in to sleep!Highly recommend reading the instructions carefully and pitch at home if possible before taking it out. As a typical male I'm not in to following instructions and started off thinking I knew it but had to start again realising I didn't! I found that setting it up can be achieved in about 10 - 15 mins, you can do alone but 2 people is easier especially if it's windy!Ventilation is good as is quality and design. Pegs bend easily so care when pitching on hard ground.Highly recommend.
