Review: Does what it's supposed to at a decent price! - I bought this to use on my Fuji camera to try and get some better audio, so far I have no complaints, it's definitely more directional and the sound quality seems to be much better than the cameras onboard mic. I needed to tweak the levels a bit in camera to get it where I wanted it but that's par for the course I guess! I've not used any other mic so I can't compare but I'm happy with the quality I'm getting for what I paid!
Review: Sound quality very good - Good microphone, works well on my Sony camera. Feels flimsy but it just survived a trip to Africa in my carry on bag without any damage.

A: If a Nikon D5100 has a 3.5 MM TRS or TRRS microphone jack, this mic will work.

**Q: How, on an iphone 8, no mic jack.
  I have a lightning plug to stereo adaptor but hear nothing.**
A: Check your cable connected to your iPhone. Needs to have 3 “lines” on it. I used a usb3 end - but it’s the same as lightning.

**Q: Will this work with GoPro 8 black?**
A: Sorry, I have no experience with a GoPro and if the Mic would work with it.

**Q: Will this work with android phones**
A: It can work with Android smartphones, but if you are a USB Type-C jack phone, a extra adapter is needed. (3.5mm TRS to USB Type-C adapter)
