I have a 4 cam setup and would like to downsize from 4 capture devices to this one.** A: This question could be answered a few different ways without speaking with you further, but here we go. This will allow you to input all four of your cameras and output them over a single capture device (capture card is built into the atem mini pro). In addition you will have multiview so you can easily see all four of your inputs. One other great thing about the mini pro is that it has a hardware encoder built in so you don’t have to use OBS (software encoder) at all, unless you use it for other things other then encoding. My favorite way to connect the mini pro is via Ethernet to your local area network. If you do it this way you don’t rely on a computer for your stream. So you don’t have to worry about a computer crashing and wiping out your stream. This setup also free’s up the USB-C slot on the mini pro so you can connect an SSD drive to record your stream. They're like a Cricket phone for audio-visual staff (volunteers) who are not technical or easily confused by too many tasks / demands during a livestream broadcast. Easy to accomplish the basics but has a lot of advanced features if you want to dig in and make things a lot fancier. One major note of caution: the picture in picture feature is essentially broken for practical use. The macro-workarounds are nice and all but the PiP has been lacking the feature to just save a custom sized PiP for a second HDMI feed to populate that PiP window. The PiP buttons cannot be re-programmed to run the macros for you either -- the buttons are hardcoded to the useless values supplied by the manufacturer -- these values yield a super tiny PiP box which is not broadcast ready.
