Skip Hop Set of 2 Zoo Bookends, Dog (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

...but no where near the weight advertised. They do not hold up the books in my son's room very well. Good thing they're so adorable!

I bought the owl set for my cousin's baby and wanted some bookends for my son's bookshelf since the book collection is quickly growing. I looked high and low, and found many reviews on others stating the bookend wasn't heavy enough and although cute was a waste of money.I decided on these even though they didn't match with my son's Winnie the Pooh nursery, and I'm very pleased. The weight (like beans) is in the body of the dog and looks exactly like the shown picture. I'd recommend this product to anyone looking for bookends for their child's room.

Looks beautiful but I doesn't do what is supposed to. Unless you keep both dog looking towards the books (holding them with their noses)

these are the perfect baby gift for the person who has most everything... they come in 3 different animal types.. cat.dog or owl and they are so cute. it is really the perfect gift. no one ever thinks of book ends for a baby. but i also include several baby books along with these book ends.

I bought the doggies for my son's nursery, they are so cute and hold a ton of books! I was worried due to other reviews that they wouldn't hold his books, but they hold up a whole shelf of books and look so cute in his room! I would highly recommend!

These are perfect! We were looking for something cute and functional, and this does it. They're basically just plush dogs with sand in them. They're heavy enough to function as bookends, but soft and light enough that it wouldn't hurt your child if it dropped on them.

I'd been looking for some unique but still child-like bookends and came across the Skip Hop ones in a pregnancy magazine. LOVE LOVE LOVE them. My son (one year old) wants to "pet" them all the time! Would recommend to another who was looking for super bookends!
