The paper is incredibly thick and smooth. I’ve tested it with several pens and markers. Very good with water based markers no bleed through with those. Alcohol markers definitely bleed through but that’s expected. Fountain pen ink will smudge initially but given some time to dry it stays on the page pretty well. Micron pens and fine liners don’t smudge at all. I love that all the pages are numbered already makes it very easy for my book journals. The covers are pretty strong and great to decorate with stickers if you want. It’s overall a great buy for the price.
