Other brands say they are, and may not have added fragrance, but usually still have some weird chemical or bad wax smell. These candles smell neutral. No scent, and they burn so clean because they don't contain bad chemicals like other candles do. Even when you blow them out, the smoke isnt a lot, and doesn't linger forever and agitate my asthma like others do to the point where I'd have to put a lid on them. So basically these candies are awesome, and are the best I've ever owned. Now that I have been using all of my emergency stash, I'm going to have to buy a box to replenish it, and another to use on a daily basis. They are relaxing and help save on energy bill. They are definitely worth every penny!!
