I try to be better at drinking water more often when I'm hanging around the house, so I decided that maybe if I got an insulated drinking container I would drink more water. I didn't need anything fancy. I remembered seeing people with insulated drinking containers that looked like a mason jar. I eventually found these.They really are a great value, you get two of them and they are pretty well made. I wanted to give the second one to my mother who sometimes takes breakfast smoothies with her to work, since the straw is wide enough for smoothies, but she didn't want it. Well, If I ever break one I'll at least be able to replace it. Speaking of which, I have yet to drop it(we have hardwood floors). It seems pretty sturdy plastic.I've only ever drunk water and iced tea out of it. It'll keep ice un-melted for at least 2-3 hours inside..maybe more, it all depends on the temperature the tumbler is in, I haven't tested it by taking it outside in the heat.

I bought these as a gift and filled them up with candies. Nice quality, good gift.

My advice: Test it out with water the first time you use it so you can return it if needed. The o ring seal was popped off on one and couldn’t get it to fit back on. The other one I decided to keep and use and the first time I put something in it the cap won’t screw tight. If you try to secure it, it just pops off the grooves and won’t lock down. I would have requested my money back if I hadn’t already used it.

The only things a dislike are the lids, very thin and be careful of the o-ring type seal, it comes out easily

But there is too much leakage and who wants their drink leaking all over the place? If it was water, maybe I could live with it, but it is iced coffee, which makes a sticky mess.The pros: Very attractiveVery well insulatedEasy to wash (use a straw cleaner for the straws)Easy to holdGreat sizeThe cons: The lid does not hold the fluid well. On examination, I think it is because the jar and lid don't have enough threads to be tight enough. If they didn't leak, they would be perfect. I am so disappointed, because I otherwise LOVE them.

I did not read the reviews and found out after using that the silicone seal kept falling into my drink while filling. My handy husband used silicone glue to hold them in place so I am happy I didn't have to return as I really like these cups. I did reach out originally to the company about the problem but never heard back from them. Pretty easy fix.

The product arrived in fine time. It appeared to be just as advertised and a good product. It is proving to be great.However, my wife (the recipient for whom it was intended) came home from work the first day and tipped the cup partially over and the drink inside started flowing out around the threads. "Look" she said, "It leaks!"I took the lid off and looked at the lid seal and found that it is designed to fit under a lip. And if it is not fully under that lip - it will leak. It only took a moment to figure out that a thumbnail, run around the periphery of the inside of the lid, where the seal needed to be fitted under the capturing lip was all that was needed. BUT, that was only temporary - it's not like the seal stays put! It consistently dislodges and will leak. it is a 'thing' that could catch you unaware and become a messy spill to clean up when it gets dislodged.Also, she noticed some bubbles floating up inside of it and looked closely. A crack has formed on the inside part of the two-part cup and the air from the 'dead space' was leaking into the liquid in the inner cup. So one of them clearly has fractured inside and, though nothing has leaked - other than air - into the dead space, it is clearly flawed.She does like her cup but I'm searching for a better-made product that's like it. This one (these two) don't seem to stand up to the job very well.

Works great in humid climates. Is dishwasher safe as long as is placed on top cleaning tray/shelf. Ice cubes lasts a long time.
